I have not been to church in over ten years. Don't get me wrong; I'm not a hedonist. I'm more of a person for science, and
with inconsistencies in various holy scriptures, I've become an agnostic-- that is I don't believe or disbelieve in the existence
of god or gods at the moment.
Never the less, I still enjoy reading up on religion from time to time. Religion has shaped the world. Most of society
and the laws that go with it were formed out of various religious beliefs. Just because I don't believe in the background
of most religion doesn't mean I can't appreciate what it has done.
My only problem, outside of some differences as to what happens after this world, is that many people preach dogmatic
principles. Too many people seem to have to say how one person is right and the other is wrong-- which is not altogether wrong,
but persecuting someone for it is wrong. It is better to focus on the good things that religion teaches and try to get along
from there.
The rest of the site has some information on all sorts of religions. Feel free to look around.
